Joanna Topor has been an actress, an English teacher and an editorial assistant. She started writing about film while studying Film Theory and Criticism at the University of Chicago and was eventually awarded a MA for her efforts. So far she likes writing about film the best. Her work has appeared in UGO, Time Out Chicago, Screen Talk, The Deadbolt, Screenwriter's Voice, Newcity Chicago, and Venus Magazine. She is currently at work on a TV pilot as well as many short stories which live in her computer at various stages of development.
